IMPORTANT

It appears that our OTL server at Holt has run into a problem to send results to their senders.

We had a warning out for upcoming problems with the old machine for some years now. Problems were likely to turn up some day, though the particular kind was hard to anticipate. Still, there are many users that prefer Holt.
Your results have not been lost.
Sending them via another mail server will require logistic efforts. The impending work will add to the delay that already has run up.

How you can help us:
If you did receive results soon after your recent requests, please send the date and time (UTC) in an email to me (hgschalmers.se).
Please report to us if requests appear lost. The relevant page to watch the job queue is https://barre.oso.chalmers.se/loading/queue.php.

New means put in place:
  1. Requests sent by direct mail are relayed to Barre.
  2. The link to the legacy web page "click here" (http://holt.oso.chalmers.se/loading/index-aside-2404271219.html) is a dummynoe .
  3. The request handlers have been put to rest. Holt's queue page will repeat its content (status Tue Oct 20 19:03:31 CEST).
Clients are urged to send their direct mail requests to loading@barre.oso.chalmers.se

Due to a difficult problem with the mail system in this computer named Holt, the OTL service is unstable.

Please use the new portal
at computer Barre.

Also note:
The new portal at Barre affords an additional resource for computation of OTL coefficients (excepting the high-resolution tide models) in significantly less time on the wall clock.

If you still prefer to use Holt, click here.
The risk being, if problems with the mail system re-emerge, the OTL service may have to be stopped for hours or days of repair.

Notice of such service cuts may not appear timely, leaving your submissions in limbo.
